Teemo Suninen & Ford Fiesta RS WRC Plus EVO - Actions, Close Calls & More! - Monza Rally Show 2018

The very strong Finnish driver Teemu Suninen took part in the Monza Rally Show 2018 driven the official Ford Fiesta RS WRC Plus with which will race the world rally in the 2019 season prepared by M-Sport. The young 24-year-old pilot has well figured in the competition, despite being his first experience on the Brianza racetrack and had obvious tire problems that made the car slippery throughout the race weekend. The Ford Fiesta RS WRC Plus boasts different aerodynamic modifications, such as the new rear air diffuser as well as the increased air intakes. Other details that characterize this evolution are the different shapes mirrors. The technical specs remain unchanged, this WRC is equipped with a 1.600cc 4-cylinder turbo engine with direct injection that develops 380 hp (280 kW) at 6.000 rpm and 450 Nm of torque at 5.500 rpm. 6-speed sequential gearbox developed by M-Sport in collaboration with Ricardo. The weight is about 1,350 kg with liquids and crew on board.

Il fortissimo pilota Finlandese Teemu Suninen ha preso parte al Monza Rally Show 2018 a bordo della Ford Fiesta RS WRC Plus ufficiale con cui correrà il mondiale rally nella stagione 2019 preparata da M-Sport. Il giovane 24enne ha ben figurato nella competizione, nonostante fosse la sua prima esperienza sulla pista brianzola ed avesse evidenti problemi di pneumatici che hanno reso la vettura scivolosa per tutto il weekend di gara. La Ford Fiesta RS WRC Plus vanta un pacchetto aerodinamico migliorato con un maggiore diffuso posteriore, prese d'aria incrementate, diverso posizionamento di alettoni e splitter. La scheda tecnica resta invariata con motore 4 cilindri turbo, 1.600cc ad iniezione diretta che sviluppa 380 cv (280 kW) a 6.000 giri/min e 450 Nm di coppia a 5.500 giri/min. Cambio sequenziale a 6 rapporti sviluppato da M-Sport in collaborazione con Ricardo. Il peso è di circa 1.350 Kg con liquidi ed equipaggio a bordo.
