Over-35 teams from Caithness RFC and Orkney RFC have raised more than £18,000 for two charities, the Royal Scottish Agricultural Benevolent Institution and the John O’Groats Development Trust Playpark Project, through taking part in a pioneering mental wellbeing initiative. Former Boroughmuir and Edinburgh Rugby prop Tommy McGee and Glasgow Warriors and Scotland 7s back-row forward Ally Miller were among more than 600 people who supported the event in Thurso at the weekend.
