If you saw last week’s Raw, the main event, which pitted Drew McIntyre against Kurt Angle, had a surprising conclusion. A lot of people have complained about WWE’s use of part-timers in the past, saying that they overshadow the current roster, and are only there because the company doesn’t know how to build new stars. But Monday night was a sharp reminder that sometimes, WWE can get it right. Angle was dominated by McIntyre for pretty much the entirety of the match, and to add insult to injury, McIntyre ended the match by hitting Angle with an Angle Slam, followed by the Angle Lock, as the legend tapped out, with pain etched across his face.
