Trofeo d'Italia Drifting 2020 Highlights Modena, Saturday/Sabato Free Practice Pro/Pro2/Street Open

The Trofeo d'Italia Drifting 2020 which took place in Modena was the only official event of the national drift championship and saw a massive turnout of drivers and amazing cars. The video you see refers to the first of the two days, Saturday, October 17, and contains the highlights of free and official practice. Three categories allowed, Pro, Pro2 and Street Open. The show was high, and I must say that the level of the championship has risen dramatically. Currently, many strong drivers with as many high-performance cars can compete for victory. Also present were some foreign pilots such as the French of Strano Autosport and Gerson Junginger with his BMW e30 V8. We have also seen a massive use of turbos for the engines, many supercharged BMW and Nissan but there was no lack of the other school of thought that sees large American V8s. Also noteworthy is the amazing BMW e46 owned by Lorenzo Fattori and powered by a V10 engine with that unique and unmistakable sound. I have to thank Emanuele Festival for granting me the accreditation to be able to film and congratulations both to the organization and to the competitors for the excellent race weekend.

Il Trofeo d'Italia Drifting 2020 che si è svolto a Modena è stato l'unico evento ufficiale del campionato nazionale drift ed ha visto unaa massiccia affluenza di piloti e strepitose vetture. Il video che vedete si riferisce alla prima delle due giornate, Sabato 17 Ottobre e racchiude gli higlights delle prove libere ed ufficiali. Tre le categorie ammesse, Pro, Pro2 e Street Open. Lo spettacolo è stato elevato e devo dire che il livello del campionato si è alzato in modo vertiginoso. Attualmente molti forti piloti con altrettanti performanti vetture possono competere alla vittoria. Presenti anche alcuni piloti stranieri come i francesi di Strano Autosport ed il mitico Gerson Junginger con la sua BMW e30 V8. Si è visto inoltre un massiccio uso dei turbo per i propulsori, tante le BMW e Nissan sovralimentate ma non è mancata l'altra scuola di pensiero che vede grossi V8 americani. Da segnalare inoltre la strepitosa BMW e46 motorizzata V10 di Lorenzo Fattori con quel suono unico ed inconfondibile.
