Here's the video I had in mind to realize when I started to film the the LMP1 prototypes present at the 2017 WEC prologue during the Monza weekend. We are talking about the Porsche 919 Hybrid and the Toyota TS050 Hybrid, the two most important manufacturers currently involved in the championship. The Porsche mounts a 500hp 2000cc internal combustion engine which pushes on the rear wheels. The MGU unit develops others 400hp on the front wheels for an approximately 900hp overall. Completing the specs an hydraulic sequential 7-speed gearbox and a weight of only 875kg. The Toyota is equipped with an 2.400cc V6 engine which develops about 500hp at the rear wheel drive, while the additional hybrid power of about 500hp is distributed on both axles carrying the Japanese car to about 1.000hp maximum power. Even for this prototype the find a carbon fiber construction and 7-speed sequential gearbox. I hope you can appreciate this "Ultimate comparison" between the most awaited cars of this championship!

Ecco qui il video che avevo in mente di realizzare dal primo momento che ho iniziato a filmare le vetture della categoria LMP1 presenti al prologo WEC 2017 sulla pista di Monza. Stiamo parlando della Porsche 919 Hybrid e della Toyota TS050 Hybrid, scontro fra titani dei più importanti costruttori attualmente impegnati nel campionato. La Porsche monta un motore da 2.000cc a combustione interna che sviluppa 500cv sulle ruote posteriori. Lunità elettrica MGU sviluppa altri 400cv e spinge sulle ruote anteriori, per un totale di circa 900cv. Completano il quadro un Cambio idraulico sequenziale da gara a 7 marce ed un peso a secoo di 875kg. La Toyota è equipaggiata con un motore da 2.400cc v6 che sviluppa 500cv al posteriore mentre la potenza ibrida aggiuntiva di altri 500cv viene ripartita su entrambi gli assi portando la vettura giapponese a circa 1.000cv di potenza massima. Anche per lei costruzione in carbonio e cambio sequenziale a 7 marce in posizione trasversale. Spero possiate apprezzare questa "Ultimate comparison" fra le vetture più attese di questo campionato.
