Daniel Bryan is one of the best professional wrestlers to have ever laced up a pair of boots. There is not a single doubt about that. Bryan came through the ranks as an independent darling, wrestling for all the best promotions, primarily Ring of Honour where he would have the third longest title reign in the belt’s history and defend it a total of 28 times, tied with Nigel McGuiness for the most defences. He had been a wrestler in the WWE twice before, but both times he was cut by the company. He would re-join the company in 2009, before getting fired again and then re-signed in 2010 and from there he has created history within the WWE ring. His career got cut short after a series of injuries in 2014 and 2015 which led to his premature retirement in 2016 and his triumphant return in 2018. What if Bryan never retired? How different would WWE’s landscape look like? Well, we are Wrestling Hub and this is What If Daniel Bryan Had Not Retired in 2016.
