He finished the Monte-Carlo Rallye in the fifth position with a +4:17.2 gap from the winner Neuville. Keep an eye on his season; this guy is a young rally promise. Another debut at Toyota is that of the Japanese Takamoto Katsuta who from test driver has been promoted to official driver in some races of this WRC season. He raced from 2016 to 2019 in Tommi Mäkinen Racing with the Fiesta R5. In this stage of the world rally, assisted by the British navigator Barritt Daniel, he finished in seventh place with a gap of +11: 27.9 from the leaders Neuville.
