A dog handler with the Calgary Police Service in his everyday life, Brad Kirkwood moonlights as the goaltending coach for the men’s and women’s teams at the University of Calgary, in addition to operating his own netminding business, and has carved out a niche as one of the most respected goalies coaches in the country. Since joining Team Canada in 2012, the Calgary native has worked up and down Canada’s National Women’s Program, and is making his first appearance at the IIHF Women’s World Championship.
