WWE also uses the 30th entrant to pump the crowd up with a surprise entrant. While they have thrown red herrings like Edge returning at number 29 in 2010, the most explosive returns happen at 30. The most memorable entry at 30 was John Cena’s surprise return at the 2008 Rumble. Point being, the 30th entrant can create wicked excitement in the match. However, this year WWE is announcing the 30th entrant ahead of time. Saturday’s return of WWE Backstage will see the WWE announce who is entering the Rumble at that coveted spot, a move that fans aren’t happy about. We agree with the fans. We are the Wrestling Hub and this is Why Revealing The 30th Entrant In The Royal Rumble Is A Horrible Idea.
