Yūki Ishikawa (石川祐希, born 11 December 1995) is a Japanese male professional volleyball player from Okazaki City, Aichi, Prefecture. As of April 2021, Ishikawa is the captain of the Japan Men's National Volleyball Team, and plays as one of its outside hitters. He currently plays in the Italian Volleyball League for the club, Power Volley Milano.

Career
In 2012, Ishikawa was called for Japan men's national under-19 volleyball team for the first time and Japanese team won the bronze medal at 2012 Asian Youth Boys Volleyball Championship in Tehran, Iran. He also won the "Best Scorer" award at the end of the tournament.[3]

In 2013, as the national team representative, he competed in 2013 FIVB Volleyball Boys' U19 World Championship,[4][5] team Japan finished at the 17th place.[6]

In 2014, Ishikawa was called for Japan senior team for the first time,[7] his debut competition that is the 2014 Asian Games in South Korea. The japanese team won the silver medal by lost to Iran with a set count 1-3.[8] In October, he had a name in 2014 Asian Men's U20 Volleyball Championship Japanese team roster and led the team won the 5th place.[9]

In 2014–15 season, Ishikawa played for the Italian team Parmareggio Modena.[10] He then returned to Japan playing for Chuo University's club in 2015–16 season. In 2016, he transferred to Italy again, played for Top Volley Latina until 2018. During this time, he was an exchange student while actually still playing for his university.

After graduating from the university in 2018, he signed his first professional contract with the Italian team Emma Villas Siena and moved to Kioene Padova in the next season.[citation needed] He changed the club again in 2020, to Power Volley Milano, and he continued his contract until 2021–22 season.[11]

In 2021, He became captain of Japan men's national volleyball team and was assigned to led the team in 2020 Summer Olympics[12][13]
